Stuffy nose durimg massage!

Everytime I massage a friend of mine, she gets a stuffy nose. I dont know whether this has to do with the essential oils used or just simply the prone postion bringing out all the bad stuff. I have no idea. So if any one know please let me know.

I think it's perfectly normal, especially during a back massage, and only in my experience where the client is lying on their front... it's all part of the body cleansing itself. Almost all of my male clients and many of my female clients get a stuffy nose. With my husband, I light an oil burner with Olbas oil in it, to help keep the nasal passages clear. They just need to follow your after care advice, eg.drink lots of water. The stuffiness goes almost immediately after they get up...

If they have no allergies, eg, you don't have a cat, and it doesn't bother them, I shouldn't worry about it... personally.

I find many people (myself included) get stuffy noses in prone position esp with use of FACE HOLE (does she make use of such?) - I always think it's kind of a gravity effect - being the lowest point, there's a drainage from sinuses into the nose.
It does seem to settle again once they turn over and if I'm doing just a back massage, I do get them to turn over and I work for 5 minutes or so, on the neck and shoulders in supine before they get up.
