fascial plasticity is sympathetic innervation and smooth muscle fibers in the fascial sheets...
the majority of the receptor population is fascial receptors just discovered, type III and IV are 75% of the receptor population and are found in the fascial bed, muscle spindles and GTO's are only 25%, and therefore it stands to reason that the sympathetic innervation to that fasica is the more dominate system. The fascial sympathetic inervation we are interested in with these type III and IV receptors are composed of involuntary afferent to the smooth muscle fibers embedded in the fascial sheets and are also efferent back as postural tone relays.

To achieve effectiveness one needs to treat fasica as a involuntary contracticle tissue that is released with hands on approach (oil/lotion free) with angular (vector) pressure and client active movement.

PROVIDE A SAFE LOAD ON THE FASICA AND ASK FOR MOVEMENT.
