Strange Tingling

I have massaged my husbands back a couple of times and each time i do he groans with pleasure lol. embaresed now , anyway, immediatly afterwards my hands are tingling like mad as if there are electric currents going through them or like they are being stabbed all over by tiny pins and needles, ~ I have done Reiki 1, but this feeling is much more intense than even when i do Reiki. with Reiki i get heat, not usually tingling,

I havn't done any massage training at all just done my own thing really.

Er? Has he got a hairy back by chance? Coz my hands tingle when I have to do hairy men. Just a thought!

Either that or it is just that you have been giving it some.

ie. it is caused by the friction between your hands and his skin. I shouldn't worry about it.

Funny you should mention that your husband is groaning with pleasure - my sister-in-law comes to me for IHM and she said that she has G-spot on her back as a result if me massaging her..... How bizzare.......

Hi hawkwind make sure you are not hunching your shoulders as you massage as you may be impinging the nerve supply causing your hands to tingle!?

I must admit I've only experienced this tingling sensation when massaging over hairy parts. I'm waiting to try the Tui stuff and hoping that will make it feel better.

You may be getting some symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Kinda goes with the territory. Have a look in Ailments under limb problems or try a search.

Other key words to try are RSI, wrist & elbow probs.
