What game?? (Sorry- Not a hockey fan. Any "sport" that allows unsportsmanlike behavior (like fighting), in my books is not a real sport.)

Technically fighting and unsportsmanlike behaviour in hockey is not allowed. This results in being disciplined by serving time in a penalty box depriving your team of a player during the time that the penalty is being served. If the infraction is serious enough there's further discipline with fines and suspensions. A lot of team sports experience fighting or unsportsmanlike conduct all resulting in some type of discipline. But you all know this, so.......
Doesn't leave RMG with too much sports to watch.

But most other sports the discipline is much more severe- like getting tossed from the game; game forfeiture; personal fines; being banned from X number of games. Then the team really suffers- especially if it is a valuable or "star" player. "Go stand in the corner for two minutes and think about what you did" is for children. Besides- sports is overrated. Just a bunch of over-paid narcissistic cry babies!

RMG, which sport forfeits a game for fighting? Chess? But that not's a sport

In basketball in many extreme instances (including fighting) a referee may call an end to the game and charge a team with a forfeiture. I used to ref. basketball but never invoked that rule but I have kicked a couple players out and seen many player benched on fouls (a player is only allowed 5 fouls before he is removed from the game). One technical foul could put him out depending on the severity.

Just read, over 50% of Canadians are not watching the final. That would include me. Lost interest for a multitude of reasons.
Season too long, commercials, especially the sport gambling ones. It seems staged now, like a big Hollywood production? These are just a few of the reasons. I could go on.
I'm sure people are simply watching the hi-lites. Why sit and watch the game for 3-4 hours when you could be outside doing things in this nice weather.
I used to be the guy running the office hockey pool, so I guess I didn't evolve with the new product the NHL is selling.
