Special permission from Local Authorities

Can anyone help please? I am about to let a room at my clinic to an acupuncturist & was wondering if there was any special permission I need to obtain from Local Authorities with regard to this. My clinic has D1 classification as it was previously a GP surgery so can be used as consulting rooms, clinics etc. Thanking you in anticipation

Yes you do need the local authorities to approve the space, as it will need to comply with their regulations for acupuncture.
This should all be sorted out by the acupuncturist themselves though, as they will need to be named in the authorities register.
You should ask the acupuncturist to sort all this out and see the paperwork before commencing, since as a clinic owner you might be liable for any problems.
This should all be a matter of course for the acupuncturist if they are a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
