Some Advice RE: Platinum Spa

So it's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood...

I LOVE this time of year; the weather is gorgeous and the leaves are just starting to change colour.

What could be better, INDN_LOVER thought, than to top it off with a nice drive, ending @ Platinum Spa with Athena...

I check the schedule and sure enough she's listed.

I call, BOOK AN APPT, and am advised not to be late.

I drive 30 minutes to get there, announce that I've arrived for my appt with ATHENA, wait 15 minutes in the lobby, then another 10 minutes in the room...

The door opens up...... wait a minute, you're not Athena...

"Um, I think you must have the wrong room, I'm here to see Athena..."

"I'm Christina .... sorry Athena's not working this afternoon...... UM.... let me get the receptionist..."

FUCK ME, INDN_LOVER thought.... and NOT in a nice way....

So now I've got Christina AND the receptionist standing in the room with me.... while I'm dressed in a sexy white towel listening to fucking ENIGMA....

Does INDN_LOVER feel like an asshole for really not wanting to see Christina, a well reviewed and pretty hot girl in her own right?........ YES.

"Would you perhaps like to see one of the other girls?" ......

"Not really..... You know I hope this isn't some type of bait and switch ?"

"No, No, No... I'll refund your money......"

Anyway, here's the BOTTOM LINE.....

The receptionist's first language isn't English and she MISunderstood me. I understand not everybody was born here, and in the grand scheme of things mistakes happen, but it's damn frustrating.

Considering how embarrassed ALL of us were I'm convinced it wasn't a bait and switch... Both Christina and the receptionist were VERY apologetic .

THAT SAID.... If you're booking an appt with Christina or Athena, better to have the receptionist read back your appt to you...

Unless of course YOU'D feel comfortable telling Christina not to take it personally that you don't want to see her....

One other thing:

I was asked for a VIP number which I don't have.

"Please tell me about it" I enquired.

I was told they only give those out DURING THE WEEK.

Am I missing something or am I NOT a paying client?

Why should I HAVE to return during the week ???

The only girl I've seen there is Athena... and all my appts have been on a weekend....

I got my VIP number on like the 2nd visit there (probably during the week, but I'm not sure), although they keep it on file there (or used to).

Sorry to hear about that experience. I'd be pissed too!

I've never had a switch pulled on me there, but each time I've been there - there was a cute asian girl at the receptionist desk that spoke good english.

I had a similar experience at S9 a while back. I booked with Ellie, I thought, but got Annie.

I have a VIP number at Platinum and I got it on a weekend. I've only visited Platinum twice on a weekday and they were both long before I got my number.

the VIP system at platinum is lame. they are constantly (i'm sure unintentionally) duplicating the numbers, so some dudes share the same numbers. how do i know? cuz one time i went in there and my next massage was free, then next time i had one stamp on my card.

one of two things happened: 1. they realized the duplication, and threw away the card with more stamps on it. or 2. some dude got my free massage. either way i was in the same possition as indian lover sitting there with a towel on, trying to convince the receptionist and victoria that i wasn't trying to scam.
