Seeing colours while massaging

I had a strange experience last night. After massaging each body part I lay my hands over the towels - say at the top of the leg and on the foot and rest my hands there for about 10 secs. Last night for the first time I imagined white light entering my body through the crown of my head.

Each body part I finished I did this and as I imagined white light entering my body I "saw" a colour between my hands - kind of like a beam of light. One was pink, one green, one blue and one purple. I don't remember what part of the body corresponded to what colour. I saw it in my mind - as my eyes were closed.

Unprompted the client commented that for such a simple action he could feel a kind of tightness in the area and like he couldn't really make out exactly where my hands were - he said it felt weird but good.

Has anyone had any similar experiences? I'm presuming this is a positive thing? I'm vaguely aware of chakras and energy. Can anyone shed light on what this means?

It sounds like you are referring to the chakra system and its colour of the individual chakras.

Starting from the base chakra you have red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, indigo blue and purple that is the main seven charkas there are more but they are the main ones we work with.

You can send the right colour into each whilst hovering your hands over the area the area or place your hands on the body in the approximate areas and do the same.
