Seasons & fluctuations in business

To massage therapists of every discipline
Do any of you guys find there are seasonal fluctuations in the levels of business you receive. I.e. do you find the summer tails off due tothe holiday season or that the new year picks up due to Gift vouchers given for Christmas are used etc, etc.
There are always seasonalfluctuations in every business & I am interested to hear yours. This interest is based ona business I am launching this year & I am looking at which months to perhaps avoid launching & which may be more beneficial.

I've always found that numbers dip in February and July. Lots of my elderly clients disappear to Spain for a month in Feb, and the younger ones go on holiday in July! Perhaps I should plan holidays for these periods, but instead I catch up on administration and clean both the clinic and the house!

June is busy for anti- cellulite lymph drainage massage. This is the aerobicfrom of massage.
Clients book their holidays, look at their legs, decide on fast track treatment.
It is not that fast track, they book in several weeks too late but come anyway.
It is usually the hottest day of the year and the therapist loses the pounds more than the client.
I don't do this very often far too exhausting!
But if you can do this treatment, I suggest advertise in April and May.

I do manual lymph drainage, and occasionally use it for cellulite - it is far from 'aerobic'!

I also do Manual Lymphatic Drainage & I must say its never been "aerobic" for me - now Deep Tissue or Thai Yoga Massage & I'm glowing!!
