hi,
i have just opened my salon room at home and wondered if there are many of you that do male clients massage?
hubby bit funny about it but there will be someone here when males clients are here.

Saying things like "my home salon" and "I also am a busy working mum and know first hand the importance of making time for oneself." could be easily taken to be some little home based business to make a bit of money and probably extras are available, people looking for extras just read what they expect to see. You also use the phrase "full body massage" a few times - you say full body, they immediately think "everything is massaged".
I also wouldn't mention the metioning body waxing, even though you don't offer brazillains on your treatment page, saying "body waxing" makes them think everything is waxed - male brazilian waxing seems to be about the only industry that gets more dodgey callers than massage. I'd let info on your waxing services be done by word of mouth, not on the website, or have a different website for waxing - for some reason mixing waxing and massage makes for even stranger calls than just massage. Some people think waxing means candle wax and something totally different to hair removal.....
"****VALENTINE OFFER**** 2 full body massagers booked together" I think you mean something other than what that actually says, that reads like 2 girls working on oyu at the same time, and that they are "massagers" not even "massage therapists", I think you meant it to be "massages"
The grammar and some words are not quite correct over most of the site, that probably adds to people looking at it and viewing it as a home run business, you'll do anything for money.

Just looked at your site and I did wonder about the "stress reliever" in your price list (but maybe that's just my dirty mind!).
Of course, anything can be taken the wrong way by someone determined to see it the wrong way. And I speak as someone whose last email via my website asked for an appointment the same day - and do I do naturist massage? I replied asking if he wanted a therapeutic massage or a sexual service (making clear I only offer the former). Strangely, I have yet to receive a reply...

you saying you had a email about a naturist massage well must be in the air as i had a call too as i had never heard of it i asked what it was....he said then the therapist and the client are both naked !!! noooo i said, lol

I start this week hopefully - long story. But it feels like I've been waiting for years to start!!

Was thinking about your website. Maybe one way of not attracting the wrong client is to change your front page. Put that page as an "about me/us" page so if people want to know about you they can click on it and make the front page about your treatments or the benefits of treatments.

Can't wait to get my site going!

My husband is the same and I understand where he is coming from. In Australia (i do not know whether it is different else where) you are allowed to refuse men if you do your business from home. This is because it is your property. You can also apply for (name of form I cannot remember) a form through court which gives you the right to refuse men without being sexist. You have to state your reasonwhether it is a religious reason or whether your work focus on womans problems only etc. I know that muslim woman massage other muslim woman and are allowed to because they have rights because of their beliefs and religion. This is not sexistand will not contradict the law.

You will have to find out the law where you live and call other business, research!
