Roller balls

Hi folks, its that time of year again to make aromatherapy products and test them out of friends and family for Yule.

I bought roller balls yesterday but the only thing I can think to make with them are de-stress and headaches blends for pulse points.

Does anyone have any other ideas please?

I use a roller ball for my hopi ear candle treatments, I use a decongetant type blend mix it with cooled boiled water and some fixture.
when I do the lymphatic drainage massage I swipe the roller ball over my fingers, then hover my hands over the nose area so the client gets the smell of it, then I press my hands over the cheeks, and sweep the sinuses.

You could also make lipgloss.

when my son had bad eczema behind his knees I made him a massage blend up in a roller ball and he applied it himself.

You know roll on deodorants Derek, it's much the same principle but much smaller and used for perfumes (mainly)

the roller balls are more like 9ml (think of a lip gloss or a lipstick size).
the glass botte holds around 9ml of liquid, you have a plastic rollerball insert that clicks onto the top and a lid.

You can get them from your aromatherapy supplier Derek.
I did a quick google and ebay have some at the moment.

hi with these roller balls, do you just add some carrier oil and some essential oils and apply it as usual or does it have to have something else special happen too? Thanks Love Melanie xx

depends what you want to achieve..

i use a softener with cooled boiled water and eo. i'll check the product name for you.

i also use it with oil if using it for that purpose.

Its surfactant.
I use about 1ml of this to 8ml cooled boiled water and then add decongestant type oils such as eucalyptus, then use to swipe around the sinuses in a hopi ear candle facial massage.

you could also make pulse points with a non-greasy carrier oil.

for my son's excema, I used sweet almond oil, vitamin E with lavender, sandalwood and chamomile, he would then swipe the backs of his knees and around his groin area, it absorbed instantly so no rubbing involved.
