Review of Maya of Platinum

I haven't seen a review of Maya of Platinum spa so here's a short review.

She low 20's and looks East Indian, although may have a slightly different heritage. She's relatively tall and is slim and toned. Quite nice looking with everything natural. Friendly, nice personality but my intuition tells me she's quite tough inside. Her reverse cowgirl-like finish is kind of rough. Not enough teasing and needs to be more gentle. Full 45+ min massage and fun, though.

The spa itself isn't that great. Shared showers. No oil. No receptionist or similar staff. Supposedly the spa is going to get a makeover for the new year.

Maya's technique isn't the best (and needs improvement) but may be worth a try just because of her looks and youth. The pricing was negotiated which bothered me a bit. I'd rather have a set rate for a set time and service level. I can't remember what I paid but I think it was ~$190 for 45min nude reverse. I think I requested a body slide, but I wasn't disappointed due to the fun nude reverse.

Platinum supposedly has Ellie working there, but she's never been available the times I've checked. Ellie was at HFH for a short time and could teach Maya a lot about technique.

I wonder what happened at Platinum?

I remember the place when it was an EE hole (and that's being charitable), but after the renovations and new staff it was quite nice. And they used to have a very attractive receptionist as well.

I agree. Assuming you did get the top option@45mins, you paid $50 more than the usual minimum, which depending on the girl can be an average of $20 more.

Platinum is one of the best newer (ownership wise) spas around it seems and it's apparent they do value customer service overall, so I don't think it's too much for them to set a standard rate.
