Red or white Tiger Balm

Hello,

I am after some guidance on using Tiger Balm. I have read that it is very effective, but can't work out the difference between the red and white one, apart from one ingredient.
I just wondered if anyone uses it and if you do, which one?

I think I'm going to try both colours-ordered them off ebay (cheap as chips!), see which one works best for me!

Be careful as the red one can stain light coloured clothing.

In the martial arts, the red is prefered for aches and pains and people go so far as to compare the bottoms of the jars for the darkest color.

Wonderful stuff. We've used it for years but I can vouch for the fact that the red balm does stain clothes.

I had accupressure whilst in Hong Kong and they applied Tiger Balm patches to the problem areas on my back. Boy they were HOT but very effective and didn't stain my clothes

Thank you all for the replies! I now have both of them, the white one seems to work wonders! the red one smells a little odd & haven't tested that one yet.
