Questions about the University of Calgary?

I want to go to the University of Calgary as an undergraduate in order to study Geology, however I have some small questions about the University.

1.- Is the University of Calgary really good for Geology, does it really prepare you?
2.- Would it be easy to find a job with a Degree from the University of Calgary?
3.- Is a Degree from the University of Calgary in Geology recognized Globally?
4.- How is life around the University and city of Calgary?
5.- How are the girls in Calgary, are they cute?
6.- Is Calgary a really social city?
7.- Is there a lot to do in Calgary, outside of studying (Parties, Nightclubs, Cinemas)?
8.- How cold does it get? (I come from the Tropics, average temp is 33 C)
