Swargate, 6th January 2025: Police have uncovered a prostitution racket operating under the guise of a massage parlour in Pune’s Swargate area. A woman has been arrested, and a case has been registered against her accomplice. Police Constable Preeti More filed a complaint at the Swargate Police Station regarding this matter.

Massage parlour operator Sunita Namdev Manjre (age 33) was arrested for luring young women into prostitution with promises of money. A case has also been registered against the manager of the massage parlour.

According to the police, the accused Sunita Manjre was running a massage parlour in a building in the Swargate area. The police received information that prostitution was taking place there under the pretence of a massage parlour. Following that, a police team raided the premises and took action. The young women in the massage parlour were taken into custody.

A case has been registered against the massage parlour operator, accused woman Manjre, along with her accomplice, under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956. Manjre has been arrested. The investigation has revealed that she lured young women into prostitution by enticing them with money. Police Sub-Inspector Subhash Rathod is leading the investigation.
