platinum spa - full of showers!!!

Hi all,

I usually don't post often but felt this was great news to share (not sure if it has been posted before or not...but anyway).

I would rank this in the same category as the Flyers adding Mike Comrie - already a good team, just tweaking the overall product. Platinum Spa now has showers in all rooms...very nice ones at that. This alone has put this spa in the same company as IT and HFH...in my opinion.

Showers are nice, but they have increased the prices considerably. NR was 160 for the hour, now 220.

You're kidding me! I've been a fan of Platinum, even of the shower experience pre-renovations. Mostly I've appreciated that they had a pretty decent value for the money, and they were reasonably close to home.

If it's 220 for an hour NR, I'd extrapolate that it's probably 260 for an hour BS. That puts them into IT, HFH, and SRM territory, and they just don't have the quality of line-up to justify that. If you're going to charge those types of prices, you have to provide at least a couple of all-stars, as well as a handful of others who'd be the best players on lesser teams.
