Hi everyone, please can you help?
i am a new practising massage therapist and one of my regular clients has 2 persistant knots in rhomboid/trapezius area that just do not want to break down. i have tried frictions, deep thumb circles an 'omni roller' and don't know where to go next..help please!? thanks, louisex
 
Hi Louise and welcome to HP. You've not given us much info to go on here. How long have you been treating the client? Have they had any injuries etc? Are there any factors in their lifestyle which could be creating/re-creating these knots. It is important to remember that if there is an old injury even if the client isn't aware of it, it may take a very long time to break down due to the amount a scar tissue.
