I'm just going on Japanese facial massage and Ayurvedic Facial Rejuvenation techniques, not sure if they are the same as Oriental and plain old Facial Rejuvenation.....
I've done beauty, so I know a lot of facial massage stuff, and Japanese Facial Massage is not an easy technique to do. The moves are ridiculously fast, and some strange angles, my hands just wouldn't behave as required. We were told it really takes at least 2 years to be at a beginner level. That was too long for me to stick it out, I don't expect to do a course and start charging people the next day, some practice is required, but I wasn't prepared to practise for two years on friends and family.
Ayurvedic Facial Rejuvenation (as presented by Melanie Sachs), beautiful routine, not totally mindless, some practice required, but not daunting. It relaxes people so much, they always look totally different when they get off the couch. I have a few clients that will book in the day before a big event and they say they are still glowing the next day. No-one has found the changes are set for life, nor has anyone done a regular series of treatments.
