One night in Beijing ? 24 hour layover

I am traveling to Beijing for 1 week. Would be appreciate if someone could share some nice spot for cheong. Not too expensive though

I can't remember how much the girl was best to knock on the door and show them your room number, if you speak chinese so much the better but only english to her chinese works out fine and fun if you go about it the right way. The room on the ground(first) floor has a revolving black and white checkered barber style sign outside.

As far as I know maggies has closed, have not been that way for a while.
there are other nightlife places, one of the hotels in wangfujing has a lingerie parade, check the site for details.

Beware of the ripoffs in many of the nightlife places, they are just ripoffs.

Myabe try to pick up a long stay girl and have some inhouse entertainment.

The oriental peace hotel is clean, comfortable and cheap, not five star but better than many beijing hotels.

I now live in tongzhou in the east of beijing (I stay at oriental peace when I want to stay overnight in the city) so don't get to the city centre much now so any other info apart from the beware warning would be put of date.

Tel-Tel, Based on your recommendation I am probably going to book Oriental Peace Hotel. Think I would like something a little more upscale but brothel right beside the elevator-----
that's good. They also advertise karaoke---I'm a karaoke star. I just hope there is good night life in the surrounding area. Do you know if Maggie's is close by? I hear it has gone down hill but for a first timer I think it is a place you have to say you have been. ala Orcchard Towers, Campo Allegro, Hotel Del Rey, Nana Plaza, etc.

Any more useful information you have about BJ please let me know, Am reading the forum but it is difficult to weed out the good info and know if it is current.

there is lot of hotel close to the ariport,it's easy to find.
if you want to find some escort ,I suggest you to go to a KTV called "hu xiao",very close to the airport, located at "Tian Zhu Cun" .If you take a taxi , 20 yuan will be ok.the price is 100 RMB,you will be allowed to touch and kiss but no SEX ,if you wanna have sex with the ladys, just tell the "mami" I remember her name is "Yan Zi" the cost will be 800 for one night.

There are also people at airports who will arrange for an overnight hotel looking for people (like me) who didn't anticipate a need for a hotel and found myself stuck between flights with the airport closing down.

best to check sinohotel website www.sinohotel.com, (there are other websites but I find this the best to use) if you book online make sure you get both an english and a chinese confirmation

I have never stayed at hotels near the airport so cannot offer suggestions.

If you have not been to beijing before you could make it to tia an men square and forbidden city in the morning then head for the airport about lunchtime.

If you stay at an hotal near the airport you could chek your luggae at the airport luggae minders early in the morning and head to sightseeing.

Thanks for the info. I arrive at 5pm, and fly out about 5pm the next day, so do not have much time for sightseeing.
Do you know of any hotels closer to the airport ?

The hotels near the airport are relatively isolated but may have inhouse service but I do not that for sure.

I usually stay at the oriental peace hotel (check the sinohotel website) in the centre of beijing, there is a very obliging massage lady (brothel is in aroom next to the lift)show here your room number and she will come visit, not sure of the price now been a while since I was with her. This hotel is clean and cheap, whilst not 5 star it is comfortable should be about 300 yuan rmb for a night. being in the centre of beijing you can have a look at wangfujing, tian an men square and forbidden city if you have time.

They say airport to city is one hour but allow at least two hours as traffic can be chaotic.

taxi cost 100 to 150 yuan rmb.

use only the official metered taxis and make sure they turn the meter on.

The street gilrs in the centre of beijing are mainly ripoffs and scammers, reda the scam section of the beijing thread.

Can anyone recommend a good cheap hotel near the airport ? Transport from airport to hotel ?
Also, where to get a cheap lay while I am there ?
Any other info or tips is greatly appreciated.
