That's part of what I love about the forum set-up: the FAQ has links to topics from years back that helped to answer my questions when I first joined MassagePlanet. Some of the off-site links are now broken, but the information and the conversations are still useful.

With Facebook, you have to have an account, you have to log in, and you sometimes have to "Friend" complete strangers to converse with them. I'm sure you're a great person and all, but I don't think you would have any interest in my day-to-day Internet trawlings, baby-related complaints, and Farmville silliness.
