...and they are really strict. No coats with POCKETS! WTF :shock: In the middle of January with a snowstorm on the way. Whatever...

My last day at Swedish Institute was in December, and I felt so distracted by the goings-on in my life to really feel like I got proper review. But I did pay for a review refresher which was OK. Oh well. Swedish does have a 91% passing rate, but there is that 1 out of 10 who doesn't pass. I just want to get it over with. If I don't pass, then I will have to wait until August, which will be a drag because I will be starting esthetician school and have to prepare for that exam on top of the MT.

Everything will come to pass...(hopefully I will too 8) )

Don't worry! I graduated from SI, too and I'm sure you will do fine! I remember standing outside with my classmates (no jackets either, blah) until we were let in, and being amazed at the number of people from all over, huddled in groups hysterically agreeing that if they were going to fail, they would do it together! :roll: But by the time I was done, I was worried I had missed something because *this* test couldn't possibly have been that easy?!? :shocked: I think I got a 86 or something and I had to rely on what I learned straight from classes as I just cannot "study" as most people do, and last minute reviews do nothing for me.

Good luck and just stay relaxed! You know what you know and that will get you through, just think logically and don't over think the questions!

NYS BOARD EXAM IS TOMORROW MORNING!

Thank you for the well wishes. I ended up going back and re-reading questions (trying not to overthink) and changed quite a few answers. I figure it's a risk that can go really well or fail. At least I took a risk. I know that the first answer is usually the right one, but I just had to make sure. Things came back to me, but there was a lot of skeletal questions that I should have known. A woman was trying to tell me the row of carpals from proximal to distal, but I stopped her beforehand because I wanted to relax before the exam. I kicked myself when I saw that question. The proximal row..think I put "hamate" Please oh please let that be the correct answer. :irked: Thankfully I took Advanced Eastern. The Shiatsu questions saved my butt! There were 20 questions on the 140 question exam, And I know I got then=m all right!

If I pass, great. If not, I'll pass in August. Either way I will get my license.

Awesome! I also took the Eastern tract and was grateful I did so when it came test time. I discovered the hard way that I had to refuse to change my answers unless I discovered I had read the question wrong, but like you said, it's really a 50/50 chance. Please let us know when you find out your results! 8)
