Newbie tattoo question, help me out please?

Hey all, I finally managed to get an appointment with one of the biggest tattoo studios here and it's this summer. I am already starting to feel nervous heh. I was wondering, could you describe the pain of getting the tattoo? How does it feel, what's the closest thing you can compare it to? On a scale from 1/10, how much did it hurt you personally? Thanks a lot to those who will answer!

PS I am doing it no matter what the pain will be btw, cause I REALLY want it! I just want to know what I should be prepared for. Thanks!

While tattooing it hurts little bit, but pain depends on the body part on which you are going to draw tattoo. Lower back and shoulder blade hurts little bit more compare to other parts.

it feels like somebody is jabbing your body with a needle several hundreds of times per second and embedding ink into your epidermis.

Actually, if you're really worried, just avoid the tops of your feet, your ribs and your sides...especially the edges of your back under your arms...that was painful.
