New Therapist

Hi I have just qualified as a ITEC Massage Therapist with a credit. I am also a qualified Reiki Practioner. At The present I work 5 days a week as a carer but wish to follow my dreams to become a therapist. My only problem is I live in a one bedroom flat and do not drive and seeking somewhere to work. I am looking in the Billericay,Basildon, Laindon,Wickford, Rayleigh and Southend area any sugestions of clinics or room hire?.
I am looking to move but could take sometime as if did find a place would have to wait for it to sell and everything else that comes with a remorgaging. In my ideal world would like to work from home but would need something in the mean time to one establish myself and to get used to working as a therapist. Would be gratefull for any sugestions as clueless how I go about things. Many thanks

Sorry don't have any suggestions to help your situtation, but just wanted to say congratulations on passing your course, and well done on getting a credit.

Well done Spiritual Babe!! I too have just passed and am looking to set up in the Cardiff area. It's been an intense 3 months.....A&P was horrific as I'm sure you know! lol!

Dont forget you can set yourself up in just about any medical/therapy space. Even opticians, hairdressers and chiropractors may have a suitable space that you could rent. Just rock up and ask them. Some may already have a therapy bed you can use. Even if they dont have something, they may know of somewhere. Once you've got the space, all you need to worry about is getting your name out there and filling the appointment days.

Hi Congratulations on passing you massage wish you all the best with your carreer.
A&P was hard work and yes I did what they call unit 22, Business practice and ethics. Thank you for you advice I have taken it on board will be definatly looking into more hiring options now, as like you egar to get my career up and running. I'm sure the right place wil turn up just got to have faith and keep trying. Best of luck finding somewhere I sure we both will soon I am looking forward to doing what am passionate about.
