Need hotel info for guangzhou and airport (CAN)

I was in the Landmark Hotel in February and I am sure there was no Sauna there. The building next to it on the 7th floor is a place where you can get a foot or body massage. There are no shower and you don't have to take off your clothes for the massage unless you are getting an oil massage.

On the 3rd floor of the same building there is a KTV I think I did not go into there so can't tell you what they do there.

when you arrive at Baiyun Airport go outside, you have got 2 possibilities :
1. take taxi, don't go with some person will be ask you for the taxi , but take only legal taxi near the appron of arrival hall, just cross the buses lanes.
2. take airport buses, each destination got number E.g : TIENHE take number 7, or Landmark Hotel 4 star Hotel RMB 450 / Guangzhou hotel (3 star ) only RMB 320 till RMB 440 take bus N° 5 ( ONLY RMB 20 ) if you take taxi, it will cost at least RMB 110 - 120.

by the way, at guangzhou hotel at 6th Floor, You can't find Sauna girl, you can see their picture and personnal description, make your reservation, and give her your room number. You can ask the girl go to your room for overnight when she is OFF ( not working ).

Landmark Hotel have sauna too.

Let me post a few more specifics, so maybe someone can give a more accurate recco for what kind of hotel I need (I've never been to Guangzhou).

I need a hotel between flights, but will have roughly 20 hours at time to kill. So, mongering is going to be an option.

So, would like price to be about 40 to 50 bucks USD (does that get an OK room?).

Location to be under 1 hour from CAN airport (is this also close to the mongering area?)

Also with elong and sinohotel ask for confirmation of booking in both english and chinese, saves language problems at the hotels.

US-based sites like hotels.com don't have very accurate location info, either. I booked a hotel in Guangzhou that one of those sites said was 7km from the airport... more like 40km, right in the middle of the city. Would've been nice if I wanted to monger, I suppose, but I was only there between flights!

Try booking your hotel on Sinohotel.com and Elong.com, they have really great deals on hotels all over China especially Sinohotel.com. I've used them to book my hotel in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong and i pay them upon arrival at the hotel. They got way better deals than Hotel.com, Expedia, etc.

Plenty of hotels in Guangzhou. Suggest you book via internet before arriving. Otherwise you will be charged 'walk in' rate.

Take a taxi from airport to Guangzhou. There is a taxi stand outside the airport. Don't take illegal taxis. About 45 minutes. Use the meter. Should be about RMB100 max.
Careful your luggage. Keep in view and hang on tight. Wallet in front pocket.
Guangzhou has many pick pockets.

Guys, need some info on hotels in Guangzhou and methods to and from the airport (CAN) from said hotels.

Looking for semi-budget / semi-nice hotels, say 40 to 75 USD.
What is the travel time/price/method to the airport?
