Oh, dear- do I know that one! I am in the last week of my internship- yay! I felt SO overwhelmed so many times! BUT....
I never felt as overwhelmed as my dh did when he was in equine massage school. Imagine a "full course" taught in just TEN DAYS! After 25 years of not having been in school, he gets the "melt-n-pour" version! His instructor kept telling him to hang in there, it would all fall into place as he started taking it out to the horses and using it, and boy did it ever!
Yes, hang in there! It will all fall into place- and I bet you will have more than ten days to "assimilate" it all before you have to start putting it to use.
