Hong Qiao is in the old domestic airport area of Puxi.
Depending on traffice can be 30-60 minutes taxi ride from Pudong.
Three discos with girls are Rojam, Maya, and True Love that i know, probably more that i dont know.

My experience in Hong Qiao area is that at the high end clean massage places it is 200 rmb for 1 hour massage and 200 tip for HJ at the end. In the hotels it can run to 600-800 rmb and higher for same thing.

Dear friend, no, those places are not in putong and so not close to the expo center. I suppose that you are coming to Shanghai for business and related to the expo center but I dont think that you will stay all your time near your hotel, from the expo to Puxi, near the places that I talked about in my post, you need 20 min of subway(4rmb), or a little more by taxi (40/60rmb). So I guess that you'll go visiting around Shanghai and not stay all time in Pudong. Anyway there are so many also in pudong. ABOUT THE MONEY, I dont see how you can judge just giving a call, you should see first the girls. In Shanghai could happen that you go in a real expensive place and you'll not be satisfied and you go in a 100/300 rmb place and you fall in love. For your info, I called Sofitel to inquire about their distance from the Expo Center and the Taxi fare etc. I asked them about the Massage; and they quoted me RMB 580/- for 45 minutes ... don't you think that is too much on the higher side ??

What I can see from your replies in this forum, the initial range goes from RMB 100 to 300 and you have specified a couple of places too but tell me that are these places nearer to the Pudong District i.e. New Expo Center ??

So, about the situation for the Expo I think that is too early to worry about. They can not start from now to close DVD shop or Sauna, Shanghai need this. after long time reading on this forum I decide to give my contribution.
I didn't do before, not only for my lazy soul but also because I'm Italian and my written English is not the best.
I live in China from 5 years, first 2,5 years in Beijing now in Sh.

So starting for a budget of 200/300 rmb, you can go in some massage place, there are so many, you need time to discovery the right one, if you have time you can discovery some nice flower in a sea of sheet. If you don't have time you can go to Sanxi lu, near Janghuo lu, open 24 hours, they do massage with happy ending if you don't like the first girl that they bring you, don't be afraid to ask for a second or third one, is normal that they bring you that girl that work less and should be some reason.
You can have nice surprises.
Good massage is also in Maoming lu/whei hai lu, nice place, shower in each room and you can get your "part massage" for 180rmb(shower included). This place is quite new and I like it, no many people know about ....anyway, I decided to share....

For a budget of 500/800 full service, there are many saunas, most popular is Shanghai hotel, forget about, this place is not convenient anymore, too many people and the service is going down.
