massage therapy, question about state boards?

has anyone taken the state boards for massage therapy, and if you have, were they hard. i am making a decision to go back to school. i am very serious about this. they say the pass rate is high, but a friend told me her daughters friend failed it.

It depends on what state and country. Like in Colorado, USA there is already licensing instead of certification only. Every state is different.

It will also depend on how prepared you are academically, physically and mentally. Even if the examination is easy BUT you did not prepare for it, then you will really fail. Preparation is still the key. Just do your best and even if you failed, you have an edge when you retake the examination.

It was intense but I wouldn't consider or label it hard, since I passed it.

If you're unsure about your Anatomy & Physiology and/or the practical hands examine, then may be you should look into taking some refresher courses. Hey, It couldn't hurt!!!!!
