Massage Therapy Clientele

. Can any experienced Massage therapist tell me how many clients they would normally get during a normal week.

And are they regular clients, im just trying to see now im qualified how much work us holistic Therapist actually do on a regular basis.

never can tell,some weeks are busy, some are dead.
some weeks you only have 1 client in and then you get 5 late appointments.
other weeks you are booked out solid and 4 of them don't turn up.

if you are thinking of replacing a well paid job with a regular wage for something similar, then it won't happen overnight.

Hi there- as I work full time and rarely give massages in my full time job these days ( retreat centre ) I can been kept busy at home some weeks and then nothing - but always good to have the day job to keep the flow of cash. On average I can have about 4-5 a week. What a great looking website exboyz04 - nice and clean and easy to navigate around - I am in dire need of updating my website now.

When I worked in a spa I could expect up to 7 clients a day.. In my own treatment room 12-20 clients a week...

I probably see anything between 5 to 25 clients a week but I do massage, reflexology, reiki, ear candles. Most of my clients are reflexology, massage, reiki and candles in that order.

No-one in today but five tomorrow, deffo "swings and roundabouts" stuff

Hi there

Just to give a part-time perspective:

I work 5 mornings a week and offer 2 treatments a day (1 1/2 hour treatment slots) and am usually fully booked. I do work a little bit on the weekends and evenings but I then tend to balance it out with my Mon - Fri times. Like I've finished early today cause going on holiday tomorrow, so did 3 clients yesterday.

I find the flexibility of part-time work is brilliant.

I do mostly massage (swedish & aroma). but also a steady trickle of the other therapies I offer. Gonna start spreading my wings into new massage therapies soon, so really excited about that.

Most of my clients are regulars, this can be a bit tricky as I don't have a lot of flexibility for new or one-off clients but I can usually fit them in somewhere.

For me, part-time work is more guaranteed and less stressful physically & emotionally.

I typically do up to 10 clients per week. This week is only 6, but I spend a lot of my time teaching, so overall I make a very good living.

Looking at the quality of your website and the range of treatments (esp. sports massage) you should do well.
