Massage Tables

Hi just a query, as I am looking for a beauty couch (don't do massages), has anyone brought one through a company called Feelgood UK and if so were you please/any problems

if table says with flip does it just mean that you can put the back part up?

As i am starting out at home (once the treatment room is built, its on order) I don't want to spend several hundreds on a therapy couch that I will be using for Reiki. This company have them for about £75+

Hi Ap

I don't have one myself but I have used them at clinics. For Reiki its ideal, you don't need anything more. Bit heavy for mobile work, but fine as a static table.

Try feelgooduk.net I have just bought another couch (selling my other on ebay), back doesn't flip up but that doesn't bother me, I got mine on eBay (same company) as it was a little bit cheaper than their website £66 inc p&p it weighs about 10kg, has arm rests and a face cradle as well as a face hole, and is adjustable.

Hi i also have one of these couches it weighs 10kgs which is a lot lighter than my other of 15kg ( i was having problems carrying it)it doesnt have a back rest but i have a lafumer for reflex so not a great loss.i havent used the face and arm rests yet as ive had all shorties1.i paid 80+ but that was last year.im happy with it.xrayne.
working weight states 220kg which i think is a lot but not had anyone near that ratio as yet.

thanks for the replies, one more question. Comfort wise for the client does it matter if the frame is wooden or aluminum? my couch when up will be mainly in the treatment room and not moved much (ie Iwon't be doing mobile as I don't drive)

Hi AP

Generally speaking depends on the construction of the couch. Wooden ones are usually more stable than aluminium.

If you can get the version with the back rising up as it's a better investment.

Have just set up my new couch (wooden) the padding is much thicker than my aluminium one, I am pleased with it.

Hi jojo thank you for asking..things seem to have gone fairly quiet and my son is just drifting along and i keep telling him to ease off the weed.i think he is using less as he tells me that at times hes bored with it.the trouble is now between my husband and son.not sure what my h problem is but thats just him(a big pain).i have been fortunate enough to be renting space in the school i work at one night a week so hopefully my bussiness will pick up.Im allow to put a banner up too and its on amain rd.so it should be good marketing.my husband is reluctantly re-doing my website so that will be up soon too.will keep you updated xrayne
