Massage for Mom

My mom is coming over from South Africa for Christmas and she has high blood pressure and also a hole in the heart and heart murmur. She is only on BP medication. I asked her to get a doctors note and also to find out if its ok from her GP to massage. I don't think she has done anything. How would I adapt the massage for her?

I am 3 months into my VCTC Swedish Massage course and would like to practise on her as well as show her what I can do and give her the benefits of a relaxing massage.

Hi Pemba[/align][/align]It ishighly unlikely that anything you do to her will cause her any problems at all.[/align][/align]Please remember that you will have been shown abasic massage routine which should lean rather heavily towards a relaxation massage,a gentle massage willin a worst case scenario slightly lower herblood pressure which is what her medication is trying toachieve.[/align][/align]It isthings that cause high blood pressure that she should be avoiding as she will probably pass out under high blood pressure situations[/align]
