Morning everyone,

I am currently doing massage and A&P course.

I am over half was with my case studies and just about to start with a new client.

He is a friend but has recently been diagnosed with stomach ulcers. I'm thinking that i would treat it as an contraindication and avoid the stomach section of the routine. Does anyone know whether i should get GP permission to treat him, or any other advice.

Peptic ulcer is a definite contraindication for abdominal massage, you are absolutely right. Massage for areas away from abdomen are indicated.
