Hi Rayne1958
I've treated my partner with both massage and reflexology. Sadly he passed away recently.
There were definite benefits with the massage, he always felt less stiff and more mobile for a day or two after a treatment. He preferred a light touch, a short treatment and no kneading.
Reflexology (he wasone of my case studies)allowed him to relax and have a sleep without feeling guilty. I didn't notice any obvious benefits as he only had about three treatments, but froma student's view point, I noticed that his feet did infact reflect the condition of his body, which had lost a lot of muscle tone - the skin on his feet was very loose.
Either treatment would be good to help de-stress your client. I would suggest offering in wife a treatment from time to time as she too will be under a lot of strain
Parkinson's isa filthy condition to have, but affects everyone differently, and doesn't necessarily mean that your clientcan't continue doing all the things he enjoys now.
Good Luck
