Not completely true Chris - some services still use MLD, but others are so stretched they simply don't have the time for hands on therapy. Casley-Smith MLD is taught in some university hospitals as part of the nursing and physiotherapy training.
I think the OP (Susan) is after some books on the subject. There are many - mainly text/reference - have a 'google'! However, some of the books go into depth about MLD sequences and movements - these don't translate very well without some hands-on tuition. There is also a subtle difference between MLD and LDM (lymphatic drainage massage)
