I am a student at wonderful school in Atlanta. Georgia does not have a licensure procedure in place. We are subject to all sorts of madness to get licensure in our local jurisdictions. I have gotten several stories about whether I would need a business license to practice. Does anyone have any clue if I will need a business license or not? I will only be doing out-calls and some contract work at a local establishment for starters.
 


Call the city you intend to practice in as well as your Secretary of State. No licensure protocol is in place in Idaho either, but I still have to have a city business license and register as a business with the State of Idaho. You might look around the websites for your city and state for information too.
