Lightweight Adjustable Backrest Support

HI all - does anyone know of a retailer of adjustable backrest support for use on a massage table?

I've seen this item on the Starlight companies website, but its a bit out of my price range (approx £200), and as I will only use it very occasionally dont really want such a big financial outlay just yet.

Any pointers greatly appreciated!

Mmm....looks quite expensive indeed. Have you tried ebay?

If it's only for occasional use, could you simply use pillows instead?

Unfortunately the lighter the couch the more expensive it gets. In general portable couches weigh about 12kg (26lbs). Do a seach on this forum for previous discussions about massage couches suppliers.

This is an unusual arragement and I'm concerned that it might slip and slid around a bit, although Starlight do tend to get things right. I know of no other manufacturer that does this type of product.

The other way of achieving a backrest on a flat massage table is to use a wedge bolster. Massage table store does one:

have you considered a massage chair which is maybe slightly bigger than you want but can be better than an ordinary chair and a desk top cradle
got a good one off of ebay last year which came with a case and wheels, just dont forget to take the exchange rate into account if you buy from abroad
(got it from Germany and cost extra £10 due to exchange rate) and probably much the same price as the desk top type
