Lidacaine patch or energy

I'm kind of blown away by something I felt last night and was wondering if someone who is wearing a lidacaine patch could emit something that feels like a magnetic force field. I have an 89 year old dear friend who was wearing a patch on her R side just lateral to S1 at an angle towards her hip. As I started to lay my hands on her, I felt a force field and when I touched her, I felt a vibration...a strong one. It surprised me and I moved my hands away and felt the same thing when I touched her again. I felt it from her L lumbar region all the way to her scapula and on the R side it stopped just 2 inches above the patch. Was that from the patch or was that heat energy?
 


Does anyone have any thoughts on this at all? I am a bit freaked out that it happened when I'm not sure what happened and how.
 


I found out what it is... she has a difibulator in her heart which would explain the vibration on the left side. I've never felt it before but someone suggested that it could have kicked in just at that moment. Now I feel like a goofball. Excuse the ring... lol
