15 months and I'm still alive.
Saturday was my last day of class (two tests). It was a long, very emotional, draining yet exhilirating day.
The morning was a test and we found out our KMP (bones, muscle, and pathology) teacher was resigning at the end of the quarter. She's a fantastic teacher and one of the school's greatest assets. Part of why she's leaving is because once Cortiva purchased the school and the badly handled changes took place, well...let's just say a lot of instructors and students were more than a little upset.
Anyway...
The afternoon was another test (a palpation and technique class - which I aced - thank you very much). Before we took the test, however, we had a closing ceremony. As I said, it was all very emotional; and, yes, even yours truly ended up getting choked up and almost crying (everyone had gone through so much during the course of school - I discovered I was not the only one who had lost a mother during school [and actually during the same quarter] - had I not been in class, I don't know what I would have done).
At the end of the day on my way out, I turned, looked into and at the room and said goodbye.
