Just had done jabs/inoculation - is MLD ok to do?

Hi guys!
Me and my boyfriend are going to East Africa and just had done jabs for tetanus & hepatitis A (around 1pm today)
I have been doing some lymphatic drainage on my boyfriend's leg recently (after an operation) and he wants me to do one today. Now I am not sure if I should do that today or wait at least 24 hours. I know that massage is contraindicated for 24-48 hours. Although MLD is very light, it works with the lymphs and am worried that he might feel sick after or that the jabs will get out of his system before it has time to settle in his body...

He says that I am just trying to find an excuse not to treat him, but don't want this jabs being useless if I do so...

Anybody can suggest if I should go ahead and treat him later this evening or should I wait until next day?

I don't think that MLD will affect the absorbtion of vaccine, especially as it is generally intramuscular - I would avoid working over the area where the vaccine was administered, as it will probably be quite tender!
What sort of MLD do you do?

I don't really know what you mean by what kind of MLD I do... But I have been trained and qualified as ITEC Manual lymphatic drainage and I presumed we were tought Vodder techniques.

Anyway, we got the vaccine into our arms, and I usually treat one of his legs so guess I should go ahead with this tonight... He will be soooo happy
