Just been phone interviewed for Sept course

Hooray, finally a little step - just been phoned interviewed by head of dept for Swedish Body Massage VTCT course starting in September at West Notts College and have been ok'ed - all I need to do is enroll and pay which I said I would do at the end of the month at pay day. Its a little step but a huge one too as its the start of something I've been wanting to do for years

Well done Mysticalwitch. You'll be counting the months now to September! At least you can make use of the time and start learning the A&P side of things. You'll find it much easier to do your homework if you've already been reading up on the subject.

I just read your other post about being late for courses. I am so pleased for you that you have been accepted on this course especially as it's what you really want to do. I would however, take Treacle's advise and brush up on your A&P, so much to learn.

If you wanted to start a course earlier, you could consider the Northern Institute of Massage in Bury, Remedial Massage. Swedish Massage is the foundation, but there is also a diagnostic element to the course aswell, along with isometric stretching etc thrown in. Would probably give wider scope for potential clients? They have rolling starts. I've just started my practical and practising on family and friends at the moment. I must say I really enjoy it!! Getting some really good feedback from my little meanderings.
