It's been awhile since I received a full body massage..ever since Massage 1 ended and we're onto Massage 2 (reflexology to be exact) and I can't believe how pissy and stressed I am! LOL Those weekly massages really helped! Can't wait until we get into Spa Treatments..which I think is after reflexology. Thank the lord!

I've got a reflexology test tomorrow...three tests in Anatomy 2 on thursday and a midterm next week in Sports and Injury. This term has started out to be not as stellar as last term grade-wise. I study but it just seems so hard to keep anything in. I have to admit that the interest in a couple of the subjects just aren't there, but I'm still really trying.

This is just a vent and not very important..just had to put it out there in space. Thanks for reading!

Mikanik, is it possible to get together with a classmate outside of school to trade massage?
Or will the school let you use the clinic to give each other a massage? Mention it to your instructor... you may not be the only one feeling that way!

in the case of massage, receiving is as important as giving.

i agree with maestra.

if is not convenient to get classmates together to trade outside of school, then you may find them willing to stay a few hours after class for trade time.

when we moved into more advanced curriculum, it was common for 4 to 6 people to arrange to stay after technique class to practice every thing again while it was fresh in our minds. the school allowed us to use the technique room as long as it wasn't being used.

then, you can spend 30 minutes practicing the new techniques, and the rest of the time wrap up everything else with some swedish so nothing feels left out. this may also help give you confidence to integrate the new techniques you learn into your classic swedish sessions.

I've let the faculty know! LOL They've all been there and understand..they even suggested getting together with another student and swapping massage out of class. That's the tricky part though. Finding time within my own schedule of working, studying and attending class/clinic and finding someone else that has the same time open.

Unfortunately, they won't let us use the rooms after class/clinic has ended because the teacher usually leaves with us or more students are coming in to use the clinic (I attend morning clinic) and there aren't enough rooms unless we actually book and pay for a massage. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm a broke student that doesn't even make enough to pay for living! Hehe
