I have been offered 2 jobs (well deff 1, interested in the other.)
But...one is within a nursing home with mental health residents and the other is with cancer and hiv/aids patients. Both jobs seem excellent and im really lucky not to have even officially qualified and been given 2 opportunities!!!

But, I am really nervous about excepting anything because I have no experience with either mental health or people with these sorts of illnesses.


Any advise would be greatfully recieved.

Just think of it as a brilliant oppertunity to bring this therapy into either of these two groups of people. Each will have their challanges and problems but will be worth the effort.

It all depends on what you feel both will be very rewarding in their own way and helping them enhance their life by giving therepay would be great.

I know I should see it as a great opportunity-and half of me really does but...what if Im shocked by what I see (in the terminally ill clients) and I let myself down by....Cant think of the right words!........Im just dont have a lot of experience with different types of bodies/illnesses. Im just scared that I'll react.
I think Ive scared myself with some cancer pictures I used when I quit smoking.
