OK, here is the first of my three reports. I have tried one massage place
and two outcalls. The latter two were successful, the former not. Tried
Kneaderbodies massage on a Sunday evening (perhaps bad timing on my part, b/c
it turned out they only had one attendant working). Chose it b/c it's w/in
walking distance of my hotel. The receptionist was new and didn't know the
fee structure very well. I paid for 30 minutes Jacuzzi and 30 minutes
massage for $60 CDN. The receptionist is not the one who does the session.
I was shown to a nice, clean room w/ Jacuzzi, got comfortable, and hit the
tub. Not quite ten minutes later the attendant, Jackie, came in. Jackie was
black, and very nice, explaining that the receptionist had overcharged me-I
was supposed to have paid $35 CDN for 15 minutes of hot tub and 20 minutes of
massage. She went and got me my $25 back. She's very nice, but she just
wasn't my thing. I accepted the 20 minutes of very light massage (powder-oil
was also offered but I hate it) but declined her offers of "is there
anything else I can do for you?" Because she was so nice and helpful, I
decided to leave her the $25 refund she had gotten for me.
Impression: My mistake was not having asked who was available when I first
called to see if they were open. I could have saved myself some time. I may
go back, but only if I check with them first.
