Massage has indeed proven an effective tool in helping with insomnia. Certainly it helps people to relax. Also, have you thought about using essential oils. For example, I regularly suggest putting lavender on the soles of both feet, just before retiring for the night. ( Be sure to use Lavandula Angustifolia, not Lavendin ) In most cases this has shown significant improvement within a two week period.

INSOMNIA
After age 40, sleep quality and quantity deteriorates substantially as melatonin production in the brain declines. Supplemental melatonin has been researched to dramatically improve sleep/ wake cycles and combat age-related insomnia.

To Relax Before Sleep:
Rub Peace & Calming or Dream Catcher across the shoulders along with a little lavender or Roman chamomile if needed.
Put 1 drop of Harmony on energy meridians to halp balance the energy flow in the body. (1 drop on stomach, navel, thymus, throat, forehead, and crown of head.)
