Indulgence evening

Has been asked to do aromatherapy at an Indulgence evening, and wondered if anyone had done this or has any idear's on what i can do??
Have thought of doing mini massage treatments with maybe some pre blended oil, but not sure
any tips would be great. thanks

when I used to do aroma massages for pamper evenings I made 2 pre blended mixes, one was for relaxation and the other stress relief - there will always be a chance that someone has some sort of allergy so I used organic sunflower oil as a base with essential oils suitable for relaxation and stress relief and then had a plain bottle of oil in case of allergies - you would think that if people had allergies they wouldnt choose a/m massage but they did. There isnt time to work out what you can and cant use for people and allergies.
The organisers should advise how long they think the treatments should be but dont be bullied over how much you charge - just point out that they dont tell the store holders how much to charge for their goods so why should they tell you how much to charge for your treatments - I havent done any for a couple of years so dont know the current rate but you know your worth and what is acceptable locally

I did something similar last week at a school - we were all charging £12.00 for a 30 min treatment and were booked up all evening. The aromatherapy massage was back, neck, shoulders and arms/hands.

remember to check for nut or wheat allergies if you use something like sweet almond or wheatgerm as carrier oils.

i think the blend is a good idea, keep it simple, they're taster sessions after all and at £12 for 30 minute treatment, they're getting a bargain! every therapist was charging the same and we were pretty much told what to charge, on a positive note, hopefully picked up some new clients along the way though!

Oh, and make sure you have plenty of change!
