I'm a college graduate!

Last class was today, and I made it!! I have enough hours now to be licensed in IL and MS, but I still have a ways to go for KY. I am taking a well deserved break though. Gotta concentrate on the national certification exam, and then I'm just going to find some work in IL for awhile. Its been a loong year, but I'm still going to miss it.

Massage school sure does make you close to your classmates. Our hands on time was always with our classmates, and we all just stayed with one person all year long. We had clinicals a couple of times in other places, but the norm was just us. It certainly seemed to make our friendships a lot more personal that way. I hope to remain friends with everyone there, especially my partner for years to come.

I'm sure going to miss receiving those twice a week massages! But I'm not going to miss the work load and the hour drive to and from school.

I'm going to go crash for awhile.....

Congratulations! It does feel good doesn't it? I also just recently graduated and yes, I do miss the massages we received while practicing! After my last day I sort of felt, well, exhausted, but also stunned? and a little like it was anticlimactic! but now that I'm on the search for a place to work and getting the actual license in the mail... I'm certainly busy enough! There is a lot to think about and it it sooooo exciting!
