I think I'm scaring myself!!!

We were given some review exams for my upcoming boards and finals.  I'm going over this stuff and it's like I'm hearing it all for the first freaking time?!!!! How could I've forgotten all of my A&P in such a short time?  During a&p I was making A's on all my tests and now I can't remember ANYTHING!!!  It's not like my prof. wasn't any good.  He's the head physiologist  and A&P prof. at the state Med school.  So it's not like I got a&p lite!  I'm panicking because I'm graduating in about 1 month.  Please tell me this is normal!?

Yes it is normal.  I have gone over this stuff many, many times and I still have to go back to my notes and my books to read up on things.  Believe me, I remember the strangest things but some of the common things I can't recall to save my life.  Don't worry about it, that is why you need to take the practice tests to see where these gaps are and for you to know where you have to go back and study.  It is just a reality check for you... and your professors will tell you the exact same thing.

So far what I need to review is, (and the list is long): cardiovascular, the more detailed muscles, nerves (serves me right to eat carbs for lunch - apparently I slept through the whole CNS), the whole meridian thing - haven't even touched it yet, actions of the muscles.  Oy vey!
