I have my license now!

Well, it's finally time to make this announcement- I AM LICENSED NOW! YEAH!

DH and I went out last night and got back REALLY late, so I didn't check the state's web site before bed as I had been doing almost every day since I sent in my paperwork "oh-so-long-ago" (I sent it Overnight Express Feb 19th, LOL!). So I checked it this morning- and voila! There I was! WOOT! I was told by the director of the massage program in Austin that when it showed up on the site, I could print it out and get to work..... but of course now we're waiting on our massage establishment license so I still have a little ways to go before I can actually GET to work, LOL!

It took exactly two weeks for them to process and post my license. Not bad! *Maybe* they'll be as efficient with the establishment license, although I do know that we have to wait until we actually receive the paper in the mail from them to officially open shop.

DH has been working there this week, though, since he is still technically a "sole proprietor" until I start there. We're *hoping* to have our grand opening the first weekend in April!

Hubby's started bringing his clients into the new place- everyone has loved it, so far. I can't wait till we can have our grand opening! Hopefully the beginning of April will work out for that!

Congratulations!!! I know how hard that wait is. In Ohio, it takes them 6-8 weeks to get back to you with your results! What a wait that was!

I am waiting to get my license, just took the State of Ohio exam last Tuesday and now it is just a long drawn out wait. Guess I will work on my business plans and book some continuing education classes.

Congratulations on getting that license. It is such a high isn't to see the name on the website? You do all you can, you pay the fees, you take courses, you take the exams and then you wait....and wait....and wait for things that are outside your control to follow through eventually fall into place.
