I finished school today and tied for the highest grade on the final!!!    Now that I am done with this part of school I can finally breathe and live a normal life.  As stressful as school was, I know its going to be well worth tears and lack of sleep that went into it.  Now its time to get ready for the national!!!

Congrats Sarah, it has been 8 years come August since I finished MT school and 7 since I passed the National. But there's been nothing else in my life like the sense of accomplishment I have from doing those two things.Again, Congrats! Now, go out and change the world through the power of touch! LOL

Sarah... I know exactlyl how you feel ... I have went through the same range of emotions as you are going through right now.  I finished school well, then as I diligently prepared for the Nationals, I felt if I did not go ahead and accomplish that, then I was falling short of my personal goals.  (Nationals are not required in this state.)  When I went and took my NCE in April and passed, then I felt like I had completed one phase of the journey and was ready to start on the next leg and looking forward to exciting and challenging things.  I wish you the best as you prepare for the NCE.  I know that you will do your best .....  you have already proved that you are concerned about these things in your life and the lifes work you have chosen.     Drema

Congratulations!  I am a few days short of being able to say the same thing.  I have 2 more exams on Saturday and it is taking all of my discipline to sit down and memorize the OIAs and pathologies of Legs and Feet.  Yesterday we had a wonderful panel of people in the massage business, several who were graduates from CSMT who shared an incredible amount of sage advice.  All of them stressed to find what one's passion was and to avoid burnout by not going overboard.  Most had tried different types of massage jobs until something clicked.Once I graduate I am going to start the process of getting certified but am allowing myself a bit of time luxury to put my attention to the things I have been putting off and the time to share with family and friends who have all been incredibly supportive.Have a great summer!  Enjoy!Ann

Sarah,Congrats on finishing! I finished the end of May and have taken a few weeks off.  It has been good to let some things slip away and I am amazed at how much I learned over the past year.  Lots of things have really stuck in my brain without having to study them.Soon, I too will start studying for the NCE.Again Congrats and do something special for yourself LaLoba
