Can anyone recommend some hotels near the Guangzhou int'l airport? I don't need a lot of stars, just a comfortable place to "sleep" and easy to get to and from the airport.

I was staying at the Garden Hotel. Loads of girls just walking around near the hotel, on the road pararlell to Starbucks ; Called some cards that were given to me during an exhibition. Just small kids throwing cards into my brochure as I was walking ; very embarresing, all the Chinese biz guys laughing !!!

But big mistake. The girls were allowed into my room after 11 pm,no problem, quite amazed, as its one of the most secure hotels in Guangzhou ! I had nothing to lose or explain, if they did not arrive, no hassels for myself. I exlained to the guy on the phone, if I did not like them, I would pay their tax fare, and request another. Standard practice.

However the first girl looked in her 30's,overweight by Chinese standards, I would say about 3/10. I rejected her and paid her taxi fare. Second girl (now midnight), was 2/10, however I was so tired of travelling and biz, I decided to keep her.

The worst experience, the ugliest girl. ( I am a regular mongerer in Shanghai and East Europe), paid rmb 800, and forced her to leave the room.

BUT - I am quite sure that these agencies work with the hotels, and are tun by organised crime. As I know from before, you can't bring any girl into the hotel, you will almost get stopped.

I think looking back, I should have been more strict with the agency, but you can shag into your 5 star hotel, no probs.

There was a post here saying that you can pick up a girl from the GuangZhou Hotel Sauna..The Sauna is on the 5th floor..he said the girls can't have sex with you there at the sauna but she can meet you after she gets off work and go to your hotel room..He said the price is only 200RMB

You may try that bar after 10PM and you find a small Wanchai Flair.
Garden Hotel, left hand Starbucks Coffee.
Out of the Starbucks left site around the corner in the basemant of the next building is the Cave Bar!

I think the 5star and Brand Name Hotels are some kind of trouble in Guangzhou after 10PM. You can go to their place if they have or
1) Fix the price (short is 300, over night 500-600RMB) NO PAY!
2) Fix the time and give her your hotel name and room number
3) Go alone back to your hotel and wait!
4) She arrived and you have your fun pay her the money.
5) Success about 90%
If she arrived in the room may she ask for the money in advance.
May some buggers don't gave the money to the girl!
I stay in my friends appartment.

I did not figure out where the mile moved but you find a lot of girls right hand from the Garden Hotel in front of Starbuck's after 10PM. You walk up that road at the end right site is the TANG Bar.
The price is short 250 and over night 500RMB.
