When I go to the home of a super-rich person for massage, I am always amazed by just how the whole lifestyle is. Most are really nice, and a minority is what I call filthy rich (not so nice). I was once allowed in through the servants' entrance - really weird experience

What interesting experiences have you had visiting homes of very rich clients (obviously not naming anyone)?

Trying to get a couch up the spiral staircase into a castle turret room - the only room with an electric bar heater - "super rich" owner was super rich as they didn't ever put the heating on!!!!

A friend of mine was treating someone who could be described as super-rich and the practitioner was very diligent in his attentions as the client was in considerable pain and it was a bank hoiday weekend, snow, etc - he didn't get paid!

OMG Jabba - and Caroline, that takes the biscuit! Wow, didn't get paid. That is so unfair, in the circumstances. I suppose the client wanted a very hard and painful massage, but to just lie there and say nothing till the end is just not on.

I used to have a couple of super rich clients who were the most charming, down to earth people you could meet. They had a butler and housekeeper and a lady who came to polish the silver every week. I used to love going there as the butler would always bring me a glass of water on a little tray after I'd finished.
