Wow, now I am even being attacked on the TJ board. One at a time. Everything about the place is violent.

I was asked by Babscat how many times I have been to TJ in the last 5 years. I was making clear that I have been to TJ countless times over the course of over a decade. I am not bragging. I do not think that this is something to brag about. What is your point?

I agree with a portion of your statement douchebag, but I think you are making one big fundamental mistake. You assume everything this dumb unsophisticated peasant says is true. when a man has all these alleged tools (good looks, charm) that supposedly help him get all this pussy to fly at him, then he doesnt need to engage in all this conflictive shit like he has.
I live in chicago,a city where theres hundreds of thousands of pochos. So I am familiar with their frustrations and issues. Hell, I've seen so many of them get locked up and throw their lives away for stupid shit it is not even funny.

By contrast, a lot of people in TJ will not visit many parts of SoCal. Since you live there, as did I, you may know what I am talking about.

Don't want to get personal with you, but if I remember correctly I believe that you live in the OC from reading some of your posts. I used to live in Manhattan Beach. Both relatively very safe and affluent areas. Try walking around Compton Blvd and the 105 when it's dark. If you are white, I would lay even money that you WILL be harassed. If you have a Rolex on, I would give 3-1 odds. Now if you where in a dark unlit alley, you would have very little hope.

I did business in that particular area(South Central) for over two years during the heart of the 1990's SoCal recession.

Mexico is a fu_king walk in the park.

Kittyfreak, FWIW, be safe. It is going to get very violent there again. Parts of SoCal are about to become a war zone due to the credit contraction and inevitable severe recession to ensue.

By the way, the only reason that I am rebutting your post is for the same reason that you are doing the same to mine. To let others know that I have had no problems living here. My only gripe is that the pu_sy is somewhat expensive here. There is absolutley very little monetary justification for a monger to come here for a short period of time in the pursuit of cheaper pus_y.

I live here and wonder if the cost is even justified.

Good point. I think that this may differ depending where you are in the food chain tho. The cutie who cleans my office probably thinks I'm not manly enough because my job does not involve physical labor - even though her man - if she has one - can probably not do much more than keep her fed and warm. Status is a funny thing and how it is determined is pretty variable. Her man may do some kind of physical labor and make less in a year than I make in a month, but she and everyone she knows may think I am a major p***y because I don't do physical labor. It is amazing that so many people have flamed me for mentioning the current crisis situation in border towns in Mexico. This crisis is well covered in the news. I have simply cited credible news sources. Many of us rely on mpnet to provide just this tpe of intel.

I can see that there is a great amount of "group think" that is trying to intimidate and harass me for not agreeing with your opinions. The fact is that many people in So Cal will not visit TJ while this drug war continues. This is not a new problem.

You do not have to agree with me. You do not have to attack me for not agreeing with you. I am not posting for any of you individuals to give me validation or approval.To be honest I could give a rat's ass what most of you here think. I am posting for the thousands of guys who may ultimately read this thread and who deserve the most accurate overall information about TJ.

Sometimes those meseros need to be slapped around! That's the first time that happened in TJ where the FEDs stormed the bars and just about closed down the zona for a few hours if I'm heariing things right?

For being such a dangerous area there hasn't been a shooting in the bars that I know of? One of the rumors was a few people were killed in either AB or LC?

Do we know finally what happened that night, as the rumors are still coming in lots of different ones. Sampson says they were looking for a cartel member? My favorite story is the daughter of a rich Mexico city business was kidnapped and forced to become a sex slave in the zona! Doesn't everybody know the US not TJ are suppose to be the final destination for sex slaves not Tiuana, according to the media?( TJ is suppose to be a training area)

I'm just wondering why the FEDs didn't come in quietly if they are looking for a cartel drug member, or kidnapped girl, as really are not that many popular bars, and these people should be pretty easy to spot if you know who you are looking for?

I did take a short trip to TJ for a early evening as it was Mexico Independence day, or as some call it "el gringo" which has something to do with a battle cry. Actually today is Independence day, but the people celebrate in on the 15th especially during the night as it gets closer to 12 AM. ( Cinco de mayo isn't really celebrated in Mexico, but Independence day is)

I went in the early evening and it was kinda boring but the closer it got to midnight it started getting loud, and those asshole who ride around in truck honking the horn and waving the Mexican flag were all over! I left early at about 1030PM and fireworks were going off and they had a few events that were getting packed, but the bars weren't too busy. I didn't find anybody I liked so my big high light of the evening was doing this little thing friendly SG called Wendy working on Constitution she is 20 but has that barely legal look going on standing about 5' 0" 100 pounds with small tits! ( the other girl was uneventful I did)

And like a sometimes say on another site, and once again I made it back to to USA without incident or running into a corrupt TJ cop. In fact like the last 4 or 5 trips no TJ cop were even at the taxi drop off area. ( that's where you get the most complaints from mongers) I think TJ as far as mongers are concerned is less dangerous, since the TJ cop shakedowns are down.

I recently lived in Ensenda for nine months. Probably vacationed there and TJ more than 100+ days prior to that in the last five years.

No problems. Now if you go looking for a problem, you will probably find it.

Just like anywhere else in the U.S.

By the way, I now live in Monterrey, MX, and have seen the Federales come into the S/C's searching people with full body armor, Mag-lites and semi-automatics.

Some TJ cops might even try to extract a bribe from you, but if your not guilty of anything you can fight it, and they will let you go, or at the most you'll end up giving them $40 dollars, and they will be happy and let you go. ( getting stopped by cops in TJ is actually been better the last few months, then in the past)

There is also a slim chance you'll be robbed if you wonder away from the zona, don't do that and you'll be fine. And like any big city you could be robbed there too?

A monger by definition takes a little bit of risk just being with prostitutes in his home town, he has to deal with thieving hookers, pimps, and be on the look out for cops. And lets no forget of Craig List's police stings.

If a monger does any of the above things....he should do fine in Tijuana where he doesn't have to deal with those things.

I think others who know a little bit about me can tell you I'm not a club operator or business owner in TJ. Oh I do some things that are considered 'high risk' but that's in the room. Outside the room, I don't do things I consider risky, if fact I find TJ a little bit boring....like a walk in the park.

But it does sound pretty accurate, and they also say these women go on to be regular girls, marrying guys, having children, and even working in regular jobs.

So the mantra "once a ho always a ho' doesn't seem entirety accurate?
